2025-2026 Studio Annoucements
Hello, Piano and Voice Students!
I recently accepted a job offer to teach music half time at Sage elementary school, in addition to conducting two community choirs through BOCES. These employment changes will affect my studio schedule in the fall. I am going to take August off to prepare for my job at Sage, and then I will continue my studio at a reduced size starting in September.
For students who wish to continue with me for the 2025-2026 school year, I will teach the following hours:
Mondays: 4:00 - 6:00 pm
Wednesdays: 4:00 - 6:00 pm
Fridays: 8:30 - 10:30 am and 2:00-4:00 pm
Please review my studio policies here on my new website. They have remained mostly the same as last year, though I did add more about my expectations for practice since my lesson spots are a lot more limited this year. If you wish to continue lessons starting in September, please fill out this google form and indicate your first and second choice for lesson time. I will do my best to accommodate everyone who studied with me last school year. Because I had a few students move this summer, I anticipate I will have space for everyone who wishes to continue.
If, for some reason, my teaching hours don’t work with your schedule, I highly recommend Sweetwater Music Keys for pianists. Emily Durrant has a team of fantastic teachers working there with availability for new students.
